Here's a little pep talk on the current issue - ISIS attacks. There you go again with this group and Islam's involvement. But I won't talk about that and be bias (in any case).
Let's just talk about something that really pisses me off. The international community right now have been really unsettled since the attacks in Paris. I am not saying that it is a bad thing, because it actually is a good thing. It is a sign that people really do care for other people. But let's get straight to the main point here. I am so bothered as to why majority of the people only showed their sympathy towards the victims of this specific attack in Paris when everyday people die in Palestine, Syria, Burma, Afghanistan etc. Why aren't they given as much attention as the victims in Paris? Is it because they are not referred to as the City of Love? Or is it because they don't have a tower you could take pictures of and brag about in on social media? Or is it because majority of the people talk about Paris and psh, no one's bothering about what's going on in Iraq, Libya, Beirut etc. That is a sick, a very sick humanity going on there.
There's one thing for anyone reading this. Just please be more open-minded and see through the walls the media are trying to confine the world in. All countries I've mentioned and other people that are still oppressed, they need global attention as the attention given to Paris. I am no hater of Paris and I think and pray for all the victims of these attacks.
I am partly disgusted over anyone that had means to say "Pray For The World" after waking up to a trending topic on twitter or facebook that says so. I've seen such as I read through my feed and mostly, they are students going to school. Here comes the thought that, I wish we were more educated.
